Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician to join our team in the Hampton Roads region. The Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs for various HVAC/R systems in commercial settings, while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
+ Service and maintain a wide range of commercial HVAC/R systems.
+ Respond promptly to service calls and troubleshoot issues with HVAC/R systems.
+ Utilize diagnostic tools, meters, and gauges to analyze system performance and identify root causes of problems.
+ Develop effective solutions to resolve technical issues.
+ Communicate findings and recommended solutions to clients in a clear and concise manner.
+ Perform repairs on commercial HVAC/R systems.
+ Completes necessary paperwork with company issued laptop/tablet.
+ Participates in an on-call rotation.
+ Safely drives company vehicle, follows requirements of company vehicle driving policy and adheres to all safety requirements.
Requirements:
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Proven experience as a Service Technician, with the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial HVAC/R systems.
+ Universal EPA certification.
+ Manufacturer certifications are a plus.
+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
+ Solid understanding of electrical circuits and troubleshooting techniques.
+ Ability to use diagnostic tools, meters, gauges, and other equipment to assess system performance and diagnose issues.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
+ Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
+ Basic computer skills.
+ Must possess a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
+ Must pass a drug screen and background check.
