For information about ABM’s benefits, file:///C:/Users/dawh5025/AppData/Local/Microsoft/Windows/INetCache/Content.Outlook/7LP03E5R/2024-Recruitment-Staff-Mgmt-11.6.23.pdf **Essential Functions** + Ability to troubleshoot, calibrate and adjust pilots, thermostats and burners, transformers, controls, relays, heaters, elements, switches and controls on electrical systems + Ability to use the tools of the trade (e.g. multimeter, refrigerant gauges, charging charts, hand tools etc.) **Responsibilities** + Installs, maintains and repairs ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment + Identifies maintenance risks on equipment + Diagnoses electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems + Cleans, adjusts and repairs systems, and performs warranty services + Performs emergency repairs promptly and efficiently + Provides technical direction and on-the-job training + Keeps daily logs and records of all maintenance functions + Ensures compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act + Complies with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements + Assists with customers' queries + Completes other duties as assigned + **Work truck is provided** **Qualifications** + Must be 18 years of age or older + **Commercial experience** + **Preventative Maintenance, diagnose issues on all units, troubleshooting with mechanical/electrical** + **Refrigeration/HVAC Trade or Vocational certification required** + 3+ year experience as an HVAC technician, and willingness to continue education in HVAC field + Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten year work history if available + Customer Service Experience REQNUMBER: 83061 All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
