Responsibilities:
-Diagnose HVAC System Issues
-Conduct thorough inspections of HVAC systems to identify malfunctions, defects, or areas of inefficiency
-Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to pinpoint the root cause of problems
-Assess heating and cooling systems, ventilation components, and controls to determine repair or replacement needs
-Perform repairs and replacements on HVAC equipment, including compressors, motors, thermostats, and refrigerant lines
-Clean, lubricate, and adjust system components to ensure smooth operation and longevity
-Replace or repair faulty electrical wiring, circuits, and components
-Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan
-Assist with the installation of new HVAC systems in commercial buildings
-Upgrade existing HVAC systems with more energy-efficient components or technologies
-Ensure installations comply with industry standards, building codes, and manufacturer specifications
-Troubleshoot control systems, sensors, and thermostats to resolve issues with temperature regulation and system functionality
-Conduct performance tests and adjustments to optimize HVAC system efficiency and airflow
-Test for leaks, pressure levels, and refrigerant levels using appropriate tools and techniques
-Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities
-Document equipment specifications, model numbers, and serial numbers for inventory management and tracking purposes
-Provide detailed reports to supervisors or clients outlining work performed, findings, and recommendations for further action
-Communicate effectively with customers to understand their concerns and provide updates on service progress
-Educate clients on proper HVAC system operation, maintenance, and energy-saving practices
-Uphold professional standards of conduct and customer service excellence at all times

-Relevant HVAC certification or licensure (e.g., EPA 608 certification)
-Proven experience as an HVAC technician, with a focus on commercial systems preferred
-Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques
-Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
-Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
-Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
-Valid driver's license and clean driving record
