The Role
The UKI Commercial Insights and Analytics job role sits within our Kimberly Clark Professional (KCP) Team in our UKI head office in Tadworth. Kimberly Clark Professional delivers leading-edge hygiene and cleaning solutions for the workplace and washroom with well-known brands such as Andrex®, Kleenex®, Scott®, WypAll®.
The Commercial Insights and Analytics Manager (CIAAM) is part of the UKI Sales Operations Team, and provides commercial insights across sales, category, marketing, and customer behaviour, along with providing key insights to our strategic customer base.
The Commercial Insights and Analytics Manager is responsible for exploring, enhancing and analysing all available data to influence future initiatives, then partnering with business stakeholders and key customers, delivering the insights, analytics, reports, best practice, capability and usage expectations to their specialist area. The Commercial Insights and Analytics Manager will be the owner of the process of the delivery of insights, analytics, data and framework to ensure user adoption. This will include monitoring, measuring and ensuring actions are taken.
The Commercial Insights and Analytics Manager (CIAAM) supports the UKI Professional (B2B) teams. Within a set of nominated areas of specialism, the CIAAM will perform deep evaluations, analysis and present data, reports, insights and recommendations that will help the company to remain competitive in the business market.
Providing Insights
Within the nominated commercial areas, identify the critical commercial business questions that need answering and provide insight, standardised reporting, user expectations, capability, and deeper business analytics to help drive action.
Deliver continuous improvement plans regarding Data Analytics journey within the business.
Communicate insights in a powerful, quantified, and user-friendly way whilst measuring adoption and actions taken (both internal and external customers)
With external customers, partner with the relevant customer manage to provide regular (likely quarterly/half-yearly) insights for their customer that enables a conversation about churn reduction, penetration opportunities or category buying trends.
Deliver insights on the performance of our UKI business. Recommend a course of action based on sound data analytics to ad-hoc problems as identified by self, management, and other stakeholders.
Provide weekly and monthly analysis and reports as appropriate.
Implement the Portfolio Planning and Sales Incentive Framework/tools.
Ad hoc reporting as required.
Support the ABU leadership team(s)
Identify the critical business questions that need answering and provide standardised reporting and deeper business analytics to help the markets answer them. Communicate insights in a powerful and user-friendly way.
Deliver insights on the performance of our business. Recommend then track a course of action based on sound data analytics to ad-hoc problems as identified by self, management, and other stakeholders.
Maintain strong relationships with the ABU Leadership team, sharing best practice and keeping the group up to date with core commercial insights team developments.
Enable and empower the use of data, insights & reporting
Be a resource and advocate for data and insights within the organisation by inspiring, teaching and empowering others to use data. Increase commercial awareness and adoption in the business via training and improving capability.
Actively promote the data led decision making mindset in the business. Provide training and assistance to relevant teams to champion a culture of data-driven decision making.
Recommend the framework, cadence and sources of analysis and reporting for use by key stakeholders.
Improve the capability of business stakeholders utilising visualisation tools to enable them to self-serve enhanced analysis and insights.
Gain alignment on tools, reporting and metrics in UKI and where possible globally. Share and receive best practice. Measure adaption.

Demonstrable experience in analytics, BI or related
Proficiency with data analytics and visualization tools
Significant business experience in Commercial Analytics or equivalent function
Demonstrate a high level of curiosity, consultation skills and integrity
Stakeholder management and a track record of delivering insights into action
Excellent commercial & analytical skills, driving to action
Strong credibility, business acumen and professionalism
Experience with advanced data visualization and tools
Advanced skills to prepare communications, functional spreadsheets, and presentations
Excellent technical ability and proficiency with online tools
Knowledge of customer success tools and KPIs
