As a Research Assistant in the Credit Research Team, you will support a team of Senior Analysts in their day-to-day responsibilities.

Job responsibilities: 

Update financial models Maintain industry databases related to the Asia Pacific credit market, various sectors and economic data Prepare presentations and reports Assist with production of periodic publications such as Cross Regional Credit Weekly, Asia Credit Analytics and China Bond Analytics Provide basic write-ups on company backgrounds and corporate structures  Summarize covenants included in bond documentation Gather market intelligence through public news outlets 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills 

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant major, such as Finance, Accounting, Economics  At least 1 year of experience in a related field Strong analytical, accounting, and quantitative skills Proficiency in Excel Ability to produce accurate and detailed materials while meeting tight deadlines Strong written and oral communication skills in both English and Chinese Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a diverse team

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills 

Experience in research, investment banking, consulting, or another analytical and demanding role  CFA designation, or progress toward the designation Programming skills Proficiency in the Japanese language
