Commercial Lead Hematology
Site Name: Belgium-Wavre Posted Date: Dec 11 2024 Deadline for job application: 29th November 2024 Job purpose: The Commercial Lead Hematology has full P&L responsibility for his/her business and drives all aspects of the hematology business in Belgium, such as in market performance, cross functional integration, above Country & region alignment. As part of the oncology local Leadership Team, he/she provides support to the Business Unit Director in leading the Hematology business as well as drives/defends growth, profitability & market share for hematology indications, products and to be launched future pipeline assets through Stakeholder relationship management and innovative customer-centric solutions. Moreover, this person is in charge of the yearly Plan/UP2 cycle in close coordination with the Business Unit Director. On top he/she is leading all launch preparations for future products/ indications, providing relevant input in above-country Global Launch Preparations and LCM-plans as well as is a key contact person for GSK internal and external hematology key stakeholder. Key responsibilities: Lead the hematology Business with full P&L responsibility and focus on driving growth, profitability and market share as well as represents the LOC towards Global/Region. Directly lead, develop, coach and build a high-performance team. Assume leadership without authority of cross-functional business partner functions. Oversight for effective commercial resourcing and capability building – including direction on Brand, Budget, Forecasting and Channel Prioritization as well as Customer Segmentation. Ensures that the Regional strategy for products including pipeline/portfolio optimization and external collaboration is adequately reflected in the LOC. Build trust and develop relationships with key stakeholders using an account management approach including stakeholder management, particularly within the larger hospitals. Keep abreast of industry & market dynamics, and anticipate, analyse and identify current and future market opportunities and their potential impact on GSK. Oversight for pricing and access team providing direction for pricing and market access strategy. Understand regional performance, competitor activities, customer networks, and customer perceptions to develop and implement aspects of the regional account plan. Work collaboratively with other BUs Commercial & Medical team to drive an integrated GSK approach across Key Account. Develop and maintain a high level of product and disease area knowledge to influence product advocacy across influencers and key decision makers that leads to uptake of our medicines. Functions as a role model for GSK Values & Behaviors, shapes the culture and fosters innovation as well as understand the key dynamics of the organization. Why you? Basic qualifications: University degree (Bacherlor, Master or PhD- level) in relevant field (Science, Medical or Commercial). Sales and Marketing experience. Ability to strategically analyse and discuss scientific and medical data with external and internal stakeholders at eyesight. Experience in project management / key account management and business context understanding. Ability to prioritize and co-ordinate several areas of own and team work to meet relevant goals. Strong planning and organizational skills. Leadership skills and experience. Fluent in Dutch or French and professional written and verbal communication skills in English, third language (between Dutch or French) is a plus. Good planning and time management skills, with ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
