Job DescriptionGrace is recruiting for future leaders interested in the manufacturing industry to join the Grace Commercial Leadership Program (CLP). The Program is designed for individuals who demonstrate strong leadership and management potential and have a strong interest in becoming business leaders. CLP’s have the opportunity to learn about the many aspects of our business, receive leadership training and develop a professional network for sharing ideas and best practices around operational excellence in addition to growing your career.
This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experts within the field of catalysts, business operations and materials technology. Our goal is not just to give you a valuable rotational experience, but to find the next generation of Game Changers for Grace.
Throughout the program, CLP’s complete 3 rotations designed to provide experience in multiple businesses while strengthening leadership skills. One-year rotations across three of the following functions Product Management, Demand Planning, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), Supply Planning, Procurement, Sales Operations, Marketing, Business Analytics. Rotation disciplines include the following:
ResponsibilitiesYear 1:
Building the Foundation for Success: Understand and map business processes. Learn about how strategic decision-making impacts the profit & loss (P&L).Year 2:
Principles of Effective Stakeholder Management: Partner closely with leaders in Process Technology, Process Engineering, Manufacturing Center of Excellence, Business Management and more. Learn about how strategic decision-making integrates with plant operations.Year 3:
Implementing Commercial Strategies: Identify, lead and monitor the successful execution of a process improvement project. LocationsRotations will take place in Columbia, MD (headquarters)
Please Note: At the end of the three-year rotation, you should be committed to relocating to the East Coast and/or Gulf Coast
Required QualificationsApplicants must:
be in their senior year currently enrolled in a degree program in in Supply Chain, Marketing, Management, Applied Math or Data Analytics, or related field.
have a minimum of a cumulative 3.0 grade point average.
prior meaningful work assignments such as a co-op or summer internship, success in the classroom, and prior leadership experience.
must be willing to relocate at the start of the program to Columbia, MD (headquarters) and stay for the duration of the program.
