About The Role
The Complex Risks Practice is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Account Manager to join their growing practice. The role requires someone responsive, has strong time management skills, and has excellent analytical skills. This is an ideal role for someone with strong technical and systems experience.
What You’ll Do
Act as one of the primary points of contact in a client-facing placement insurance broker role for an assigned book; Be responsible for maintaining key client and insurer relationshipsMeet existing client’s needs, including but not limited to quotes, premium adjustments, endorsements, renewals, and claimsPrepare and monitor insurance submissions, proposals, and summaries of insurance with the support of an account assistant for the processing of binders, certificates, and billingsNegotiate with insurers to best meet the needs of the client in conjunction with the producer remarketing where necessaryCollect premiums from clients in a timeline pursuant to HUB standardsQualifications and expertise that pave the way for Success
RIBO (Registered Insurance Broker of Ontario) license RequiredTypically, 5+ years of commercial insurance experienceExperience in market negotiations on commercial policies is an assetStrong aptitude to learn new risks along with a desire to keep up to date with emerging trendsResults-oriented and passionate, with a strong sense of accountability and client management skillsDetail-oriented with strong organization and prioritization skillsA Solid team player who also possesses independence of thoughtProactive client-focused approach with effective negotiation and follow-up skillsProficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel (formulas and pivot tables), PowerPoint and OutlookExperience with Applied EPIC or similar insurance broker management systemsElevate Your Career with HUB International
