Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing and renewing existing commercial book of business.
Will spend time out of office calling on new perspective commercial clients in all industries including private medical, dental, manufacturing and restaurant businesses.
Work with the marketing manager in setting up meetings with potential new clients, it is up to the responsibility of the commercial agent to follow-up and manage this process to closure/booking.
Responsible for maintaining relationships with the commercial underwriters and in general the commercial marketplace.
Develop long-lasting relationships with current commercial clients.
Provide excellent customer service, ensure timeliness and accuracy with all details.
Respond to requests for client needs such as COI???s, information and documentation.
Communicating with clients sixty days prior to policy renewal to be sure there are no changes in their needs, alert clients that their policy renewal is coming up and what to expect during the process.
Re-marketing existing policies, if need be, based on cost or changes in the policy
Get updated information from current clients prior to renewal.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
4+ year experience in commercial insurance a plus
college degree preferred

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
2-20 License
Minimum three years??? experience quoting, writing, and managing commercial lines policies.
Extensive knowledge of commercial lines markets, products, coverages and underwriting guidelines, Florida commercial property insurance, general liability insurance, professional liability insurance and workers comp insurance.
Some experience with but not limited to restaurants, private doctor???s offices, manufacturing facilities, artisan contractors, etc.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to effectively communicate insurance concepts to clients.
Problem solving skills.
Ability to multitask.
Ability to work independently
