General Description:  Provides highly technical support to clients and members of USI’s Commercial Lines Account Management and Sales Executive teams to appropriately analyze, design, market, price, and place risks. Makes fact-based recommendations to clients to solve their insurance issues.

Responsibilities:

Risk profile using models and resources.Negotiate underwriting terms coverage and pricing with carrier underwriting partners on behalf of clients.Participate in the development of department policies on a national and local basis.review clients' data and existing insurance policies and make recommendations for improvement.May assess clients’ contractual liabilities and alignment with their insurance policies and make recommendations for improvement.
Knowledge, Skills, qualities and Abilities:
 2-3 years in a Commercial Lines agency with underwriting and technical experience. Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.Must hold or be willing to earn Property & Casualty insurance license.Industry designation such as ARM, CIC, CPCU preferredDeep, technical knowledge of commercial insurance.Strong business, negotiation, and data interpretation skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products.Knowledge of Sagitta / ImageRight preferred, but not required.#LI-CS4
