Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Account Executive to join our construction-focused insurance team, supporting the growth and client success of Acrisure’s Construction Practice. This role is designed for a professional with a solid foundation in construction risk management and insurance broking, who will work directly alongside Justin Failoni, a respected authority in risk solutions for the development and construction industry. The ideal candidate will act as a “1A” partner to Justin, taking ownership of high-impact client relationships and complex coverage placements, helping to drive the growth and reputation of our construction division.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management: Act as a trusted advisor, building and sustaining meaningful client relationships. Understand each client’s unique business goals, anticipate their insurance needs, and deliver tailored, value-driven solutions.

Strategic Collaboration with Construction Specialist: Partner closely with Justin Failoni to co-manage accounts, ensuring seamless and responsive service that upholds the highest standards in client interactions and coverage delivery.

Coverage Structuring and Placement: Design, negotiate, and secure complex coverage solutions aligned with clients’ risk profiles and project scopes. This includes expertise in OCIP and CCIP Wrap-Ups, builder’s risk, and liability coverages for large-scale and high-risk projects.

Claims Advocacy and Guidance: Act as a claims advocate, offering clients strategic advice and support throughout the claims process to promote favorable resolutions and minimize disruptions.

Risk Mitigation and Planning: Provide forward-thinking risk management advice, identifying potential challenges early, and offering actionable solutions to help clients optimize their risk exposure.

Market and Industry Expertise: Stay well-informed on market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks impacting the construction sector, ensuring clients benefit from the most current insights and coverage options.

Qualifications:

Experience: A minimum of 10 years in insurance broking with a strong emphasis on construction clients, including Developers, General Contractors, and Sub-Contractors.

Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge of construction-specific insurance solutions, including OCIP, CCIP, liability, builder’s risk, and other relevant coverages.

Analytical Acumen: Demonstrated ability to assess complex risks and claims, providing clients with data-driven recommendations that prioritize coverage accuracy and cost-effectiveness.

Client-Focused Approach: Proven success in cultivating lasting client relationships through high-quality, responsive service and a commitment to client objectives.

Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with the confidence and clarity to explain coverage intricacies and advocate effectively for clients’ interests.

Professional Integrity: A reputation for ethics, reliability, and accountability, consistently acting with integrity in all client and team interactions.

Education/Licensing:

High School Diploma or the recognized equivalent is required.

Active Property & Casualty license, required.

Insurance Designations, preferred.

Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred.
