HUB International Gulf South is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Manager to lead and manage the operational functioning and development of the Gulf South Commercial Lines departments. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily operations and driving operational excellence, ensuring compliance, fostering relationships, and leading a team of dedicated insurance professionals to achieve business objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Split time between the various Gulf South offices by maintaining a physical presence in each office as necessary per operational needs or as requested by the Commercial Lines Practice LeaderMeets operational standards as outlined by HUB CorporateManage, mentor and support teams across multiple offices to achieve individual and collective performance goalsFacilitate professional development opportunities and promote a positive, inclusive workplace cultureEnsure the efficient handling of commercial lines accounts, including renewals, endorsements, audits and new business processing.Monitor workflows and implement process improvements to maintain high standards of service and productivityAct as escalation point for complex client issues, providing strategic solutions that strengthen client relationshipsPartner with producers and Account Executives to deliver exceptional client service and retention strategiesEnsure adherence to regulatory and company policies across all locationsCollaborate with operation and compliance teams to address any gaps and maintain audit-ready processesActively participates in the hiring and new hire onboarding processesTrains employees on duties, expectations, standards, policies and audits and reviews these areas regularly as set by standards; identifies/coordinates additional employee training as neededImmediately and effectively addresses and resolves employee performance concerns utilizing regional human resources and operations resources as necessaryCommunicates with management and employees about service structure to improve performance and productivityAssists in developing business plans that align with the company’s growth objectivesAssists in monitoring expenses and adherence to budget numbers for location or departmentConducts annual performance reviews for direct reportsOther duties as assignedREQUIREMENTS:
