Commercial Lines Marketing Assistant
General Description: Assist regional Marketing Specialists with marketing/placement of new business with partner insurance carriers. Includes completing post-binding activities before transitioning the client to the account management team. Support commercial lines producers by completing technical resource tasks to secure new business.  
Responsibilities:Assist regional Marketing Specialists with new business submissions. Review, input, submit, and accurately document in agency management systems.Help with preparation of applications, schedules, and summaries of insurance.Assist Marketing Specialists with quotes. Includes online via carrier rating tools or submitting to underwriter.Assist with completing marketing summaries and proposals. Includes outlining terms, rates, commission, and binding order documents/subjectivities.Request information from insurance carriers such as loss runs.Provide various proof of insurance documents. Includes auto ID cards, certificates of insurance, and evidence of property insurance forms.  Invoice clients, including fee and premium finance agreements and complex invoicing.Assist with Surplus Lines documentation. Complete Workers’ Compensation Experience Modification analyses in Mod Master or other similar resource.Complete Property Valuation reports via Marshall and Swift or other similar resource. Maintain a high degree of accuracy in agency management systems and technology platforms.Meet service standards and best practices developed by USI.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:3-5 years of experience in commercial property & casualty insurance agency. Comprehensive understanding of all property & casualty insurance coverages, placement, underwriting, and rating concepts.Must hold or be willing to earn state Property & Casualty insurance license. Experience with insurance carrier systems for submission and quoting.Knowledge of Workers’ Compensation Experience Modification analysis tools and Property Valuation tools a plus.Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with minimal instruction. Sales driven and solution oriented to help meet production and growth goals.Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills. Sets priorities and manages workflow to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate work.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Excel.Ability to maintain relationships with sales team, co-workers, carriers, vendors, and other business contacts. #LI-LT1#LI-Hybrid
