As aphysical damage adjuster on our Commercial Lines team, you’ll investigate, analyze, and determine the extent of Progressive's liability concerning loss of damages specific to commercial products. You’ll accurately estimate the most complex and costly commercial losses. Commercial losses handled by Truck specialists most often involve vehicles such as heavy trucks and equipment; but may include other large vehicles (i.e., fire trucks, busses, wreckers etc.).
This is a field position. In this role, you’ll cover a large geographic territory which may include multiple states. You’ll be driving to vehicle inspection sites.
Must-have qualifications:
A minimum of six years relevant work experience with three years appraisal/estimatics or claims handling OR Associate’s degree and a minimum of five years relevant work experience with three years appraisal/estimatics or claims handling OR Bachelor’s degree or higher and a minimum of three years appraisal/estimatics or claims handlingPreferred Skills:
Ability to multi-task and prioritizeExcellent negotiation and conflict resolution skillsSelf-motivated, ability to work independentlyProficient in use of physical damage estimating systemsMechanical aptitude including knowledge and hands-on experience related to commercial vehicle repairsCompensation
