Job Summary:
The Assistant role will partner with the Policy Placement/Marketing Department’s development efforts to place new business for Commercial Construction clients. In this role, you will provide primary support to two Placement Specialists.
Responsibilities:
Prepare insurance applications and supplemental forms in order to prepare marketing submissions to insurance carriers.
Gather underwriting information from producer and client.
Provide insurance carriers with additional requested information.
Obtain Loss Runs
Obtain quotes from carriers and carrier websites.
Document agency management system
Prepare proposals.
Maintain marketing logs.
Review follow up list daily and take appropriate action.
Comply with agency standards, policies, and procedures.
Position Requirements:
1 - 3 years Direct Marketing/Quoting Experience
Property and Casualty broker’s license preferred
Applied EPIC a plus
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Detail oriented, highly organized able to meet deadlines and multi-task
Customer service oriented with strong problem-solving ability
Excess Markets including ability to read an excess proposal and spot limitations and/or missing coverages
Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word and Excel

Pay Details:
