Vectra Bank Colorado needs your loan documentation and customer service talents! We are excited to offer an opportunity as a Commercial Loan Assistant to the right candidate.
We are interested in those of you who have experience and aptitude working with customers – both internal and external, providing support with commercial loan documentation and servicing. This role is located at our Belleview Station corporate headquarters office in the DTC.
What are we looking for?
The primary focus in this role is to support the Commercial Banking Relationship Managers in meeting and exceeding their clients’ commercial loan needs.
Qualifications:
+ Provides assistance to multiple Relationship Managers in providing a variety of loan services to new and existing clients
+ Helps facilitate commercial loans from initiation through closing and servicing
+ Prepares loan packages and coordinates submission for underwriting
+ Monitors maturing loan reports; gathers and reviews due diligence items for renewal; requests information from clients and external partners, tracks compliance, and analyzes data
+ Ensures accurate loan documentation and receipt of fees
+ Effectively handles frequent contact with internal and external partners and inter-organizational managers on non-routine, sensitive, and/or high-level matters
+ Proficiently handles projects that are complex in nature which may require the frequent use of independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices
+ Creates and fosters internal partnerships to facilitate client transactions & servicing
+ Consistently provides an exceptional level of service, utilizing professional verbal and written communication
+ Collaborates to develop strategies to meet the needs of clients
+ Ensures adherence to compliance regulations, security, bank policies, procedures, and goals
+ Completes research as needed, following each issue through to timely resolution
+ Acts as department liaison as necessary
+ Is flexible and assists other team members as needed
+ Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
+ A High School diploma or equivalent and 6+ years of banking, loans/documentation, lending processes or other directly related experience
+ Expert knowledge of lending processes, loan principles, and loan systems
+ Advanced knowledge of banking processes
+ Strong organizational and customer service skills
+ Strong appreciation of details, thoroughness and accuracy
+ Strong written and verbal communications skills
+ Ability to re-prioritize frequently to meet changing deadlines
+ Working knowledge of PCs and Microsoft Office

Salary Range (based on job experience): $31.25 - $35.00 an hour.
