Key Responsibilities:

Lead business loan initiatives, identifying client needs and managing loan documentation for business owners seeking financing solutions. Develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and relationship-building efforts in the community. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including loan vendors and business development staff, to ensure a smooth loan process and provide excellent service. Conduct risk assessments, prepare business loan presentations, and provide recommendations to the Business Loan Committee based on financial analysis. Attend and represent the organization at local business networking events and professional trade association meetings to foster relationships and grow the business loan portfolio. Maintain a high level of compliance with regulatory guidelines, internal policies, and risk management procedures.

Key Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance or a business-related field is preferred. Experience: 5+ years of experience in commercial lending with a track record of success in business development and loan portfolio management. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationships with business owners and commercial clientsthrough proactive outside sales efforts, including cold calling and networking. Strong understanding of financial analysis, with the ability to evaluate business financial statements and tax returns. Proficient in using lending software, Microsoft Office, and other related tools for efficient business loan processing. 2+ years of commercial sales experience is preferred. Strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively analyze and manage business loan documentation.
