**Abbott Molecular Diagnostics (AMD) is looking for a Commercial Manager UK &I.**
**Major Responsibilities**
+ Full revenue and profitability responsibility including forecasting and target performance achievement.
+ Full operational and functional responsibility for a team of Abbott Ambassadors
+ Responsible to execute business development plan and sales plan to achieve revenue target higher profitability, higher win-rates, and higher share of wallet for for new and existing customers.
+ Assist Ambassador with contract negotiations, particularly with pricing/profitability policies.
+ Drive New business acquisition primarily through respective field activities.
+ Call on senior levels, manage multiple decision makers, create, and establish relationships to KOL’s.
+ Field travel Team Coaching activities.
+ Establishes value propositions and build business cases.
+ Post‐sale involvement with customers.
+ Ensure continuous improvement of KPIs including Sales, Service, and Operational Excellence.
+ Developing strategies and ensure their execution to ensure KPI targets are achieved.
+ Build and maintain a strong positive profile among the company's key stakeholders such as health and regulatory agencies and diagnostic associations, with the aim of proactively shaping and influencing relevant legislative developments / regulatory frameworks.
+ Assess, identify potential market growth opportunities as well as market synergies to secure competitiveness and that corrective actions are implemented when required.
+ Anticipate market trends and environmental forces and implement the necessary changes to meet distributor and customer needs.
+ Acquire, inspire, and retain top talent to achieve a high level of competence, motivation and efficiency in order to secure sustainable profitability and in doing so, develop a high-performance organization, driving best practice, and create a culture of innovation, pro-activity and accountability.
+ Create a culture of innovation, calculated risk, and high accountability.
**Qualifications**
+ Minimum bachelor’s degree educated in business, marketing, technical or scientific discipline or similar.
+ Previous experience in Diagnostics industry
+ Retaining existing business and ability to drive growth.
+ Strong understanding of key stakeholders and customer dynamics
+ Strong solution selling and relationship building skills.
+ Strong experience maintaining and developing customer relationships.
+ A modern, team-based leadership style that places high value on talent development, inspires confidence, generates enthusiasm, and creates pace whilst remaining open and disciplined.
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Requires regular of an average of 70% travel activity.
