Commercial operation specialist
Introduction to the job

Commercial operation specialist manage the operation process of ASML commercial system and option from factory to customer site and contribute on reverse supply chain flow to maximize re-use of commercial product and leftover.

In addition, this position is responsible for freight forwarder management closely working together with P&D Freight team.

Role and responsibilities

Ensure our mission of Customer Supply Chain Management (CSCM) organization “We deliver material to our Customers in the Field on time, in full, and at the right quality and cost” by collaborating with internal / external stakeholders.

Manage system & options shipments to customer destination collaborating with sales operation team and central logistic teamManage back-order status with delivery and communicate delivery note with customersTrack and troubleshoot ongoing shipments in cooperation with warehouses, forwarders, and customs brokers to secure timely communication and on-time delivery.Stakeholder management by interfacing with Customer Support (CS) / customers / business partners on operational issuesDocumentation support in case of any customs issuesRETM / R4R return flow managementCommercial inventory management at local warehouse including RMA, IRRReview KPI performance of Freight Forwarders on a regular basis and drive for performance improvement to meet targetEnsure Dangerous goods operation to be compliant with IATA related regulationsReview freight bills and arrange payment to forwardersSupport warehouse operation management where neededSupport Export control administrative work where neededParticipate in Commercial operation / Freight management related projectsApply lean approach (A3/4C action) for problem solving / continuous improvement

Education and experienceBachelor degree or above with major related Supply Chain Management / Logistics & business administrationMore than 5 years of working experience in Supply Chain Management and administrative operationKnowledge of business complexity, supply chain and/or relevant industryProfessional competency on Supply Chain Management E2E flow preferred

SkillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsGood command of Japanese and English, both verbal and writingSelf-motivated, self-supervised with ability to work in a team as well as individualAbility to perform with sense of responsibility under high pressure and timelinesResult oriented with convincing pro-active attitude, “can do” mentality, flexible and highly committedFlexible and able to work in a very dynamic and fast paced environmentStrong data analysis and problem solving abilitiesSAP knowledge, SAP MM experienceMS Office skilled

Other information

Customer Supply Chain is responsible for all customer supply chain activities (machines deliveries, upgrades at customer sites, spare parts management), inbound and outbound flows to and from the factories.

Strong interfaces with other supply chain departments, ASML Factories, Central Planning, Field offices, Account Team and Customer Service departments will be required.
