Commercial Operations Loan Closer II

As the Commercial Operations Loan Closer II, you will be a critical member of the commercial client relationship team that is responsible for ensuring loans with complex loan structures or documentation requirements are closed and documented in accordance with the Citizens credit approval policy. You will be responsible for accurately booking loans into the loan accounting system, performing appropriate due diligence tasks, reviewing operational risk components, and ensuring conditions are met prior to closing or funding a loan. You will function as a gate keeper for certain compliance and reporting requirements and will perform these functions under the supervision of a Team Leader. As part of the Client Service team, you will thrive in this role by possessing strong verbal and written communication skills to interact efficiently and effectively with internal business partners, legal counsel, and clients. Primary responsibilities include + Knowledge of Federal regulations, loan documentation terms and conditions including credit agreements, notes, guarantees, and collateral is required as you will act as a gate keeper for certain compliance and reporting requirements. + Responsible for ensuring loans are closed and documented in accordance with the Citizens credit approval procedure. + Accurately booking the loan to the loan accounting system. + Perform appropriate due diligence tasks, review operational risk components, and ensure conditions precedent are met prior to closing or funding a loan. + Possess strong verbal and written communication skills in order to interact efficiently and effectively with internal business partners, legal counsel and clients. + Reconcile Loan Accounting Recon account for assigned loans. + Manage and clear post-closing legal documentation exceptions in compliance with bank policy. + Implement effective controls and proactively initiate action over key client indicators and managing loan closings within established Key Performance Indicators (KPI's). Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials + 3+ years of Commercial Loan Closing or Servicing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, or education + Commercial lending experience + Ability to review and interpret complex wholesale commercial loan documents + Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills + Ability to exercise independent judgment to identify and resolve problems + Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills + Prior banking experience + High School Graduate - but prefer College degree + Add or delete bullets, as applicable Hours & Work Schedule + Hours per Week: 40 + Work Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Some job boards have started using jobseeker-reported data to estimate salary ranges for roles.
