Commercial Project Superintendent
Join the Team Our Commercial Superintendents, "boots on the ground" are integral in ensuring that a project is completed timely and within budget. We are searching for someone who has a proven track record of successfully completing Commercial projects. This person should possess key qualities like leadership, business acumen, assertiveness, expert-level communication written and verbal, able to work through conflict, and has a strong sense of integrity. No need to apply if you are not up for the challenge! - The Commercial Superintendent is the principal company representative responsible for the daily operations of the project. Acts as the eyes and ears onsite - Works closely with the project manager on planning, organizing and overseeing of project execution - Ensures tight communication on any delays, issues or concerns regarding schedule and budget - Coordinate job site workforce and subcontractor workforce for timely project completion - Manage the project closeout process demobilize all resources - Monitor and enforce AUIs Safety Program - Ensures proper documentation is completed and stored properly - Develop, maintain, and communicate policies, procedures, and processes that help prevent problems from occurring - Maintain positive, productive relationships with ALL stakeholders, including AUI employees, Subcontractors, Vendors, Owners, Architects, Engineers and regulatory entities Pay: From $90,000.00 per year - Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a superintendent in commercial construction - Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field a plus - Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, etc.) - Able to read and understand blueprints and drawings - Able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel - High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions Our Company is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and will consider all applications for all positions equally without regard to their race, sex, age, color, religion, national origin, veteran status, genetic information or any disability as defined in the Americans With Disabilities Act, or for any other reason protected by State and/or Federal law.
