Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a portfolio of retail properties. This role requires a hands-on manager with a solid background in property management, financial oversight, tenant relations, and team leadership. Key Responsibilities: + Portfolio Management: Oversee daily operations of assigned retail properties, ensuring they meet operational, aesthetic, and financial goals. + Financial Oversight: Develop and manage property budgets, prepare financial statements, and generate regular financial reports. Analyze property income, expenses, and cash flow to ensure profitability. + Lease Administration: Handle lease renewals, amendments, and compliance with lease terms. Collaborate with leasing teams to improve tenant mix and optimize occupancy rates. + Tenant Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing their needs and resolving any issues quickly to maintain positive relations. Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and maintenance requests. + Vendor & Contractor Management: Coordinate with contractors and vendors for property maintenance, repairs, and capital projects. Ensure that service agreements and contracts are cost-effective and meet property needs. + Maintenance and Operations: Monitor building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) to ensure optimal performance. Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules and oversee repairs to minimize downtime and disruptions. + Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that properties comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety codes and environmental laws. Requirements Qualifications: + Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business administration, finance, or a related field (preferred but not required). + Professional Experience: 3+ years of experience managing retail or commercial property portfolios, with a proven track record of meeting financial, operational, and tenant satisfaction goals. + Technical Skills: Proficient in Yardi property management software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for financial tracking and analysis. + Property Systems Knowledge: Strong understanding of building systems, preventive maintenance, and repair processes. + Relationship Management: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on tenant relations, conflict resolution, and fostering positive working relationships with vendors and contractors. + Budgeting & Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, lease administration, and asset management principles. + Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated experience managing teams and collaborating across departments to achieve shared objectives. ­Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
