Job Description

The ideal Associate Counsel is an independent worker with demonstrated Initiative, excellent judgment, and significant experience in real estate and business transactions.

The client is also seeking the following attributes in the Associate Counsel:

Perform legal work focusing primarily on the drafting, review, negotiation, and amendment of real estate purchase agreements and related documents; retail real estate leases and related documents; financing documents; construction agreements and related documents.

Assist in the due diligence and closing process for real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and financing.

Provide advice and counsel on complex legal matters while focusing on building and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues.

Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Identify creative, business-oriented solutions to legal and business risks.

Law degree from an accredited law school

7-10 years legal experience at a law firm, In-house legal department, or governmental legal office

Experience in real estate law

Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, organizational, drafting and communication skills.

Full-Time - Combination of in office & remote work

FLSA Status: Salaried Exempt
