Description Commercial real estate paralegal needed for a downtown Los Angeles law firm. The role will support two partners and an associate with loan transactions, leases, refinancings, and closings on the commercial real estate deals of their fortune 500 clients. Candidates with exceptional attention to detail, experience with iManage, Sharepoint, Microsoft 365, and DocuSign. Responsibilities: • Assisting with the preparation and execution of loan transactions in the commercial real estate domain. • Managing and updating commercial leases, ensuring all details are accurate and up-to-date. • Handling refinancing processes, collaborating with partners, and associates to ensure smooth transactions. • Facilitating commercial real estate closings, ensuring all necessary documents and procedures are completed in a timely manner. • Utilizing various software such as Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS), and Case Management Software for efficient task management. • Overseeing client accounts related to commercial real estate and initiating appropriate actions as required. • Providing expertise in areas such as Commercial Leasing, Closing, Closing Documents, and Real Estate Finance. • Utilizing excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery. • Maintaining and updating client records with the help of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint. • Using DocuSign for the secure signing and management of documents. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the legal or commercial real estate industry • Proficiency in using Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, and Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) • Experience with case management software • Knowledge of billing functions and calendar management • Expertise in commercial real estate and commercial leasing • Experience in closing, preparing closing documents, and understanding real estate finance • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal • Proactive and able to work independently as well as in a team • Detail-oriented and able to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines • High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
