A Florida law firm is seeking seeking a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal / Legal Assistant with 5+ years of experience to provide support to their Real Estate Practice Group in Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of administrative functions such as preparing engagement letters, creating and filing expense reports, coordinating couriers, answering phones, and making travel arrangementsMaintain attorneys' calendars and scheduleMaintain attorneys' client contact informationAssist with running conflict checks, opening, and closing of client mattersEstablish and maintain accurate electronic and paper filesEnsure that the clients' billing requirements are correctly set upInput and edit attorneys' timeReview and edit paperless pre-bills for attorneys' review and approvalManaging the preparation and processing of commercial transactions from beginning to end Order, review, and analyze title documents, title requirements, title endorsements, title search reports, inspections, and surveysReview and preparation of contracts for the purchase and sale of real estate Preparation of easements, deeds, and other real property-related documents Preparation and issuance of title commitments, title policies, settlement statements, title objection letters, closing documents, affidavits, and coordination of disbursementsPreparation and review of homeowner association documents, condominium association documents, and contract disclosures for residential purchase and sale transactionsMaintain critical dates for all purchase and sale agreements, due diligence efforts, and client deliverablesQualifications5+ years of working experience as a Commercial Real Estate ParalegalLarge commercial law firm experience preferredProficiency with using Windows-based software and Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to plan and prioritize various assignments/projects simultaneouslyAbility to work well under pressure in both an independent and team environmentStrong attention to detail and follow throughFlexibility to work overtime as neededRequirementsAbility to understand, edit and proof various documents related to conveyances, acquisitions, and real estate development using CompareRite or other redlining applicationsAbility to manage a busy desk for two or three attorneys and work in a team environmentAbility to pay close attention to detail, meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing prioritiesExcellent written and oral communication skillsHigh degree of initiative and ability to plan, organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasksHave a can-do attitude and flexibility to work overtime as neededTechnical KnowledgeMicrosoft Office 2016 knowledge with Outlook and advance knowledge of Word functionsFamiliarity in using an electronic document management Experience in Filesite / iManage is a plusExperience in Simplifile / online public records recording is a plusExperience in AdobeEducationBachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred 1392410_1735334808 To Apply for this Job Click Here
