Your Duties:

Generate estimates from plan drawings, specifications, field notes, field drawings, and actual field inspectionsPrepare these detailed estimates for commercial projects by creating cost budgets for various roofing solutions and proposals to customers that are accurate and competitive in a timely mannerProvide input on pricing of roof solutionsMatch contracts to estimate to ensure accurate pricing documentationWork closely with project managers to ensure the successful completion of a project in accordance with how it was estimatedEnsure processes are followed from pre-bid until handoff meeting Be accountable for your own goals, decisions, and bidsUtilize bid log to track down bids and total bids closed

What You Bring:

High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferredStrong leadership traits and mentoring abilitiesQuality focusGeneral computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, or another spreadsheet program Superior listening and communication skills Prior sales or estimating experience (preferred)Prior roofing or construction experience (preferred)
