Job Description
Our client is looking to add a Commercial Install Technician to their team as they continue to grow their footprint in MD.
This Technician needs to have experience installing a variety of security equipment including Alarm.com, DMP, DSC, Alexor, Impassa, Neo, Qolsys, Bosch, Honeywell, Concord, and Vista. Any others is a plus. Experience with access control, CCTV systems, motion sensors, door locks, glass break, smoke detectors, and carbon monoxide detectors is preferred. Install components, hardware, firmware, and software.
In addition to the above, if this Technician has fire systems experience that would be preferred but not mandatory as they can be trained on these panels. Our client works with Silent Knight and Potter.
Knowledge of how these systems work, how they are set up, and knowledge of Alarm.com (primarily) and other systems will provide exactly what our client needs.
Top Skills Details:
1) 5 years of experience in the commercial security field specific to installation of equipment, including access control, hardwire CCTV and wireless CCTV cameras, low voltage cables, locks, motion sensors, etc.
2) Ability to communicate with others including internal management, end customers' project management team, customers, and sales engineers.
3) Must be able to problem solve, have installation experience so that they can meet the quality of construction needed by customers, have an understanding of how to wire and mount all security equipment.
4) Proper knowledge of safety codes for security, fire, and electrical circuit load so the system works properly.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
