The Commercial Service Manager will oversee and manage the service operations of our commercial HVAC division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of technicians, managing service contracts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining operational excellence in all aspects of HVAC system maintenance, repair, and installation for commercial clients.

Team Leadership & Management: Supervise, train, and mentor a team of commercial HVAC service technicians. Schedule and assign service work to technicians to ensure timely and efficient completion. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching. Maintain a positive, collaborative, and safety-conscious work environment. Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of HVAC service projects, ensuring high-quality standards are met. Ensure adherence to industry codes, safety standards, and company policies. Manage inventory and equipment, ensuring all service vehicles and technicians are properly equipped. Monitor and manage service requests, ensuring quick response times and resolution. Estimate and provide service quotes to customers. Customer Service & Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients. Address and resolve customer complaints or service issues in a timely and professional manner. Prepare and present service proposals, quotes, and pricing for clients. Budget & Financial Oversight: Prepare and manage budgets for service operations, ensuring financial objectives are met. Track service revenue and expenses to ensure profitability and operational efficiency. Approve invoices and manage vendor relationships to maintain cost-effectiveness. Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Oversee HVAC system inspections, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for commercial clients. Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team on complex service issues and repairs. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all work complies with local and federal regulations, including environmental standards. Maintain accurate records for service agreements, contracts, job progress, and equipment maintenance. Stay up to date with industry trends, certifications, and regulations.Qualifications
Proven experience as an HVAC Service Manager, with a strong background in commercial HVAC systems. Certification in HVAC (EPA, NATE, or equivalent) is required. Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in project management, budgeting, and financial oversight. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.Preferred Skills:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business management, engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required) Experience working with commercial clients and large-scale HVAC systems. Proficiency in service management software.Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying environmental conditions. Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and access confined spaces.
