We are looking for a Commercial Tire Technician: We are looking for Truck Technician and not automotive for our Road Service Position. A Commercial Tire Technician is responsible for the dismounting, mounting, and balancing of tires. General job functions include adequately securing the vehicle prior to dismounting the tires, and wheels, reattaching all tires/wheels, to ensure proper safe operation of the vehicle. Requirements: + Must have truck tire service experience. + Have mechanical skills: Truck Tire mount and dismount experience + Must pass a drug test and background for employment. + High school diploma or GED preferred Responsibilities: + Tire technicians inspect, repair, install tires on a variety of trucks. + Have extensive familiarity with tire inspection, including checking for tire pressure, uneven wear, and tire puncture repair. + Requires a strong grasp of tire installation and repair processes, including patching, mount/dismount, and balancing tires. + Work with teams of mechanics and automotive repair technicians, so they should be able to successfully collaborate on vehicle repair and maintenance tasks. + Interact with customers to provide them with information on tire repair and replacement options, so they should have some experience with customer service best practices. + Prior knowledge of tire related equipment and tools a plus + TIA Automotive Tire Service (ATS) training preferred (Training will be provided) Why McCarthy Tire Service? + Strong safety culture, including safe and reliable equipment, and paid training. + Stability and growth opportunities - Career advancement strategies that will help you secure your future! + Competitive Pay and Benefits package: Blue Cross, Vision, and Dental! + Weekly pay, and direct deposit is available! + PTO & Paid Holidays, including time off during the 1st year! + Relocation to other McCarthy locations available. + And many more great incentives!
