If you are looking for career development or simply a great place to be, consider joining us as a Warehouse Operations Supervisor at our distribution center in Union City, GA Your Role As a Commercial Shipper you will be responsible for moving materials within the warehouse and the loading / unloading of materials onto or from vehicles utilizing a forklift, reach truck, order picker or other heavy material handling equipment. Responsibilities also include receiving, storing, picking, packing, verification, shipping/manifesting, screening and other various duties as assigned to ensure the full and efficient operation of the warehouse. You will work Monday - Friday, 5:00 am - 1:30 pm and or Monday - Friday, 3:00 pm - 1:30 pm and will be paid weekly at $19.20 per hour with a full benefits package. Your Responsibilities Verify and receive materials into inventoryVerify required inbound paperwork with drivers, ensuring that all products are properly countedEnsure inbound and outbound deliveries are accurate and free of damage“Dangerous Goods”: when receiving dangerous goods, the necessary procedures must be followed and these shipments must be stored in the designated section of the warehouseUse Material Handling Equipment or other designated means to load goods into trailers or other designated transport vehicles for distributionOther duties as\r\nassigned Your Skills and Experiences High school diploma or equivalent 1 year of recent experience in a warehousing or distribution environment 1 year forklift experienceCan lift up to 50 pounds Can walk or stand for extended periods of time while wearing steel toe or composite toe shoes in a non-climate controlled environment Must be a US Citizen Good Reasons to Join There has never been a better time to work in logistics.
