The Job You Will Perform:

 

The Commercial Solutions Specialist is a key customer facing role to elevate and tailor the 80’s of the 80/20 customer experience such as P&G in order fulfillment by optimizing key supply chain parameters across the order cycle and throughout their global network. This role will be responsible for optimizing the ongoing management of transportation and warehousing solutions based on forecasts and requirements for key customers while balancing cost, risk and performance. Additionally, this role will support the commercial organization in supply chain design, global inventory strategy, supply exception management, and providing stakeholder visibility to global supply health.

 

The Commercial Solutions Specialist will be directly responsible leading efforts to support the evaluation, execution, and optimization of delivery needs for a global customer’s footprint. This includes collaboration with Supply Chain, Sales, and Customer Service to gather costs and requirements for new supply chain design, presentation of options and costs to customer, monitoring and presentation of key KPI’s with customer, support of customer during hypercare, and global inventory management.

 

Build relationships with key stakeholders Standardize Supply Chain and Distribution Business Processes and Reporting Learn business terminology, key metrics, and drivers Develop working knowledge of current files Learn reporting and analytical systems (SAP, Excel, Power BI, etc) Gain familiarity with historical results in order to provide forward looking analysis

 

Key Accountabilities:

Serve as Single Point of Contact for Customer representing supply chain options, supply chain health, and global transportation market conditions Coordination with supply chain in the design of new or alternative supply chains including gathering costs, lane options, warehouse options, inventory targets and modes of transit Understand supply chain design alternatives and tradeoffs for key decisions at macro and regional levels Calculation of quarterly freight adders when applicable Supply and transportation KPI development, external scorecard generation and review with customer Monitor global supply health via KPI’s and leadership in driving escalation and solutions with internal team and customer Support for regional trials for new lanes, modes, and BCP shipments Champion Planned Delivery Time (PDT) updates in region routinely as well as supporting AE’s with best practices between regions Hypercare support including participation in some regional calls and global leadership updates Coordinate Air Freight when necessary Customer Value Quarterback internally Global Inventory Management and Visibility: Maintenance of inventory dashboard Monitoring BCP inventory levels and age Coordination between regional needs for MTS inventories

 

The Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge You Will Bring:

Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years’ experience in Customer Service or Supply Chain Working Knowledge of SAP/Business Warehouse Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong technical skills Exhibits strong customer focus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Comfort around senior management Strong communication and presentation skills Proven ability to work successfully in a team environment. Ability to work in a global environment with multinational team and customers. Self- starter with the ability to work under pressure, handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
