Summary About the position: This position will be assigned to the 9 FSS, Marketing, Beale AFB, CA. This position is regular part-time, guaranteed 20 hours per week and receives benefits. Must be able to life and carry up to 30 pounds and have the physical dexterity to move promotional trailers and stand for long periods of time. Responsibilities Conducts Commercial Sponsorship and Commercial Advertising for the 9th FSS / Beale AFB. Compiles a list of viable annual events and programs to seek commercial sponsorship. Develops solicitation packets and solicits sponsorship from local, regional, national, and international sponsors. Negotiates mutually beneficial sponsorship terms and executes all supporting documents. Coordinates with the installation's Staff Judge Advocate to ensure terms of each sponsorship agreement follows all procedural guidance, regulations, and policies. Ensures compliance with agreements. Attends events and serves as point of contact for sponsors at events. Prepares thank you letters and after action reports. Stays current on administration of Commercial Sponsorship and Advertising program. Develops pricing structure for paid advertisements and tracks payments of advertising to ensure proper accountability and credit. Qualifying Experience: Must have experience that demonstrates general knowledge of marketing/commercial sponsorship and its principles and practices. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying. Additional Information Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. Territory for three (3) or more consecutive years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation.
