**APPLICATION DEADLINE:** **December 31, 2024**
This position has a target wage of $21.90 - $28.13 per hour, based on shift, experience and qualifications. Overtime may be available.
**What You Will Learn & Main Responsibilities**
+ Working with a summer mentor learning different aspects of how Commerical Strategy and Business Planning works while getting hands-on, real world work experience.
+ Business areas include but are not limited to: Sales Planning, Revenue Growth Management, Category Management, Sales, Product Marketing and Finance
+ Complete a project that will utilize the skills learned during the internship. Provide weekly project updates to manager. Present final project at the end of internship
+ Understand Business Planning functions (i.e. customer planning, assortment, pricing strategies, promotional activities, etc.)
+ Understand the Sales Process and the relationship between retailers and CPG manufacturers
+ Gain basic understanding of shipment and consumption data, using Circana and Power BI Tools
+ Understanding of customer profitability analysis and program financials
+ Will be able to interact with Senior leadership.
+ Will be able to tour different company business functions and locations such as the Innovation Center, Perdue Learning University and Live Production Farms.
**Minimum Education**
+ This position is open to graduate and undergraduate students.
+ Must be enrolled in an accredited university in a relevant field of study. Sales, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Degree or related majors preferred.
+ Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA or higher.
**Experience Requirements**
+ Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new tools and software
+ Have strong communication skills, including written and verbal
+ Must be able to work independently or in teams
**Experience Preferred**
+ 3.25 GPA or higher is highly preferred
+ Completed at least 2 college-level Sales and Marketing Classes
+ Student extra-curricular experiences
