Commercial Strategy and Operations Manager

The Commercial Strategy and Operations team drives critical go-to-market (GTM) programs and initiatives across Sales and Client Success, to ensure Commercial execution is aligning seamlessly with Collective Health’s growth strategies. Our evolving portfolio includes programs such as Performance Guarantees Performance Management, Salesforce Optimization, Channel Strategy Planning, Commercial Performance Management, and Strategic Market Planning and Analysis.

As internal consultants, we foster leadership and cross-functional collaboration, enabling informed decision-making to define, align, and execute commercial GTM strategies that unlock and measure growth. We partner closely with Products, Marketing, Sales, Client Success, Partnerships, CX and Finance teams to ensure the successful execution of strategies and tactics.

Our team integrates strategic program oversight, tactical project management, and advanced analytical expertise to deliver actionable insights that drive data-informed decisions. We also enable scalable growth through innovative technology and process optimization. 

What you'll do:

Strategic Program Management

Develop and oversee programs such as Performance Guarantees Performance Management, Salesforce Optimization, Channel Strategy Planning, Commercial Performance Management, and/or Strategic Market Planning and Analysis. Facilitate leadership and cross-functional collaboration to align and drive strategic and operational decisions. Lead, manage, and execute key commercial initiatives to ensure their success. Commercial Performance Management Define, develop, and monitor KPIs to measure and communicate the effectiveness of commercial priorities. Translate goals, achievements, and insights into executive-level written communications and presentations. Prepare leadership materials for board meetings, ELT, and SLT updates. Drive transparency and accountability through leading and supporting business reviews. Create and maintain documentation for on-going operational processes and reporting.     Planning Develop and inform financial plans, including operating budgets, forecasts and target-setting (e.g., bookings, account retention goals, performance guarantees, territory allocation, quota setting etc.)  Create and drive roadmaps and project plans outlining goals, milestones, and initiatives for assigned programs and initiates.

Analysis

Analyze external and internal data to identify trends, forecast sales, and uncover opportunities for performance improvement.   Present analytical insights to diverse audiences to inform decision-making.  Perform market and customer analyses, such as total addressable market evaluations, customer targeting, network market share, and/or client and pipeline health assessments. Design and conduct quantitative and qualitative studies to answer business-critical questions. (E.g., Partner on closed-won/lost and/or customer termination surveys and market research to improve customer and broker experiences, driving growth).   Reporting Develop, automate, and optimize reporting by partnering with data teams and subject matter experts to unlock, connect and consolidate disparate data sources. Create self-service reports, dashboards and data visualization to distill large datasets into actionable insights using Salesforce, Looker, Google Sheet and other BI tools Act as an expert in Collective Health’s reporting capabilities and backend data processes. Salesforce Optimization Collaborate with Sales, Client Success, and Salesforce Administrators to define, document, and prioritize Salesforce business requirements. Conduct research and gather feedback to shape requirements and propose effective solutions. Own end-to-end delivery of Salesforce enhancements, including discovery, design, QA testing, implementation, and training/documentation, ensuring alignment of people, processes, and systems. To be successful in this role, you'll need: 8+ years of professional experience, including 4+ years in revenue operations for a B2B team, preferably in the health insurance industry  Strong expertise in data analysis, report development, and business/financial acumen with a focus on commercial strategic planning and process management. Advanced skills in Salesforce, Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint/Google Slides for telling streamlined stories with complex data Experience with SQL, R, statistics, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker etc.) Exceptional skills in project management, problem-solving, and written and verbal communication Pay Transparency Statement 

This is a hybrid position based out of one of our offices: San Francisco, CA, Plano, TX, or Lehi, UT. Hybrid employees are expected to be in the office three days per week (Plano, TX) or two days per week (San Francisco, CA and Lehi, UT). #LI-hybrid 

The actual pay rate offered within the range will depend on factors including geographic location, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition to the salary, you will be eligible for stock options and benefits like health insurance, 401k, and paid time off.
