Commercial Team Leader - Equipment Finance
Description Summary:The Commercial Team Leader - Equipment Finance will lead and manage a team of sales executives, account managers, and sales associates in financing originations for the construction, transportation, environmental services, and manufacturing industries. Duties and Responsibilities: + Develop and implement a team strategy to achieve assigned goals, sales efforts, budget, and personal involvement in business development calls, and any aspect of the largest or most complex loans or prospects. + Prospect and develop new and existing vendor and or end user customer relationships. + Work with existing vendors and or end user customers to enhance their financing program solutions. + Assist with sales training on a regular basis through sales meetings, conference calls, tradeshows and scheduled one-on-one phone calls. + Ensure all relationships and transactions are in strategic alignment with the risk profile of the bank, including all front-end guidance. + Represent the Bank as a professional in the marketplace/community. + Attend various trade shows nationwide as required. + Perform other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business or related field + 7+ years of equipment finance or leasing sales experience + 7+ years of team management experience Preferred Qualifications: + Background in vendor finance + Formalized credit training + Demonstrated success structuring transactions using a broad variety of product sets + Demonstrated leadership experience by providing coaching, skill development, and feedback to team members + Proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel + Proven negotiation skills + Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills + High level of professionalism + Ability to travel a minimum of 25% #LI-JS1 #CML Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay) Yes Workplace Type: Office Our Approach to Office Workplace Type Certain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement.
