Job Overview
As an Engagement Manager, you will provide expert-level support for commercial technology solutions, ensuring the financial performance of assigned customer segments. You will establish IQVIA's credibility as a leading provider of enterprise-wide technology solutions and drive large-scale, customized deals across our Tech & Services portfolio. You will manage a cross-functional team (onshore/offshore) to achieve project delivery success, identify and elevate potential new business opportunities, and provide technical leadership to the project team.
Essential Functions
Accountable for large-scale, multi-country technology implementations, ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability.Set strategic agendas and drive global account planning to achieve financial and non-financial targets.Build and deepen strategic client relationships within defined accounts.Ensure alignment and coordination between IQVIA and client touch points, sharing client insights internally.Map commercial stakeholders at the segment and account level, understanding their needs and priorities.Create annual segment/account plans with financial targets and a clear roadmap for achieving them.Maintains a database of intelligence on competitor activity and strategy within the account.Provide regular updates to all aligned members of the customer/segment account.Lead or participate in the design, development, and delivery of technology/service-based projects.Review and analyze client requirements and problems, proposing and delivering cost-effective solutions.Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses to identify client issues and develop specific solutions.Design, structure, and deliver client reports and presentations, recommending improvements and alternative solutions.Develop broader and deeper knowledge of technology/services solutions and trends in the pharmaceutical/healthcare/life sciences market.Begin to develop subject matter expertise in technology and applications consulting or functional areas for the pharmaceutical/healthcare/life sciences industry.Manage work streams, assign tasks, and drive them to completion, potentially assisting with business development activities.
Qualifications
Experience with SQL Server (database) and SSIS Intermediate knowledge of Power BIUpper-intermediate English 5–8 years of related experience in consulting or services delivery, ideally in pharmaceutical/healthcare/life sciences industry Req Solid project management, client influencing and relationship building skills. Strong technical architecture / design or development experience desired. Works willingly and effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals. Experienced with developing consultative relationships with senior level managers and executives at clients in the pharmaceutical/healthcare/life sciences industry. Ability to manage multiple projects, juggle priorities and deliver on tight deadlines. Knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools and techniques related to functional area. Knowledge of key issues and current developments in the industry. Excellent presentation, communication and client influencing skills. Has established network and referral contacts. Has necessary subject matter expertise to effectively manage projects within a given CoE.
