International is expanding its Springfield, MO Used Truck Reconditioning Center (UTRC) by adding a sales position for used trucks. Commercial Truck Sales Representative involves selling vehicles to end users, building relationships, understanding buyer needs, and offering tailored solutions from our inventory. The goal is to increase sales and strengthen our market presence in Springfield and surrounding areas.

 

Ideal candidates are self-starters with experience in developing new business territories and class 8 truck sales or related industries. Sales support includes managerial, marketing, and reconditioning assistance from our 11 Used Truck Centers and Lisle, IL headquarters. This is a great opportunity to start and grow a business with consistent monthly sales.

Responsibilities Receive sales and Corporate Training Resources and systems training from the General Manager, and UTC/Staff Participate in local marketing and advertising activities Learn industry specific sales tacticsLearn about our various productsIdentify sales opportunities and document activities in our CRMPursue warm leads, and contact high potential prospectsMeet customers in face to face selling situationsStay abreast of current inventory and participate in its managementDevelop quotes and invoices

Provide necessary coaching and support for dealer sales representatives to conquest new business and retain existing customers

Develop relationships and maintain with strategic prospects and customers

Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree

OR

At least 2 years outside or inside sales experience Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. International Motors does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)

Ability to obtain and maintain CDL status (Commercial Driver’s License)
