SUMMARY:

We're looking for a Commerical Trucking Claims Senior Examiner (Hybrid) who is a highly-motivated professional to join the Commercial Claims Liability Team. You will expand your technical and procedural knowledge as you handle claims involving complex coverage, high exposure, and litigation.  You will be working in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITES:

Handle GEICO's commercial, short-haul and long-haul trucking claims involving unrepresented individuals, pre-suit files and litigation filesConduct investigations to determine coverage and liability for claims involving serious injuryEvaluate, negotiate, and settle claims for damagesMaintain a pending diary of claims, which you will work through settlement and resolutionProvide support to GEICO insureds that have become defendants in lawsuits and guide them through the litigation processProvide direction to defense counselTravel to attend trials and other litigation process eventsPresent files to the Senior Director, the Head of Recreational Lines and the Property & Commercial Lines Executive

REQUIREMENTS:

3+ years of commercial trucking claims handling experienceAbility to provide high-quality customer serviceAbility to actively listen to customers’ needsAbility to negotiate effectivelyAbility to multitask (listen and type; speak and navigate the system)Must meet corporate attendance standards
