If you are an experienced Commercial Vehicle Engineer looking for a position with a leading company, Bartech can help! We are a leading staffing firm and our clients include some of the biggest companies in the nation. Our client has a need for a Commercial Vehicle Engineer. This is a contract position; however it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. Applicant must be eligible to work in the US for immediate opening. For this opportunity, the successful candidate will be directly employed by Bartech Staffing as a W2 employee while providing services to our end client.
Commercial Vehicle Engineer
Job Responsibilities
Your specific duties as a Commercial Vehicle Engineer will include: Commercial Vehicles Special Vehicle Engineering (SVE) is looking for qualified candidates. with Engineering and Vehicle engineering experience in all automotive functional areas and systems to assist aftermarket commercial vehicle Intermediate/Final Stage Manufacturers/Upfitters/Dealers. Address questions/issues they have with Commercial Vehicle Chassis for their respective vocations including and not limited to design/releasing options per customer requests and modifying frames. Deliver engineering solutions for vehicle special orders released in WERS and in eVSO . Manage all frame modifications ie. hole patterns, frame lengths, WB etc. and verify these changes in Freedom. Support pilot reviews and assembly plant visits.

As a Commercial Vehicle Engineer you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent Excellent oral/written communication skills. D&R experience. Commercial Veh. knowledge/expertise. Broad knowledge of PD processes. 10 + years in Automotive related engineering 4 Year Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
