Responsibilities:
Revenue management
Ensuring that departments meet their revenue and expense goals, and holding department managers accountable for their financial goals Sales
Helping the team sell vehicles by finding new customers, creating sales strategies, and motivating team members Recruitment and training
Managing the hiring, recruitment, and training processes Dealership Performance evaluation
Maintaining records, requesting reports from subordinates, and evaluating dealership performance. The GM is also responsible for the Performance Appraisals of the Management Team and is the arbitrator in Performance Management disputes of subordinates Efficiency and performance
Working with senior staff and account managers to improve efficiency and performance Internal processes
Improving internal processes to increase productivity Strategic goals
Setting operational policies and ensuring that strategic goals are met Budgets
Creating and maintaining budgets Performance evaluation
The GM is responsible for evaluating the Performance Appraisal of the management team (Sales, Workshop, Service, Office Manager) Encouraging values
Clientricity, Integrity, Accountability, Fairness, Professionalism, Competence, Confidentiality Requirements:
Minimum of 3-5 years in same or similar role as General Manager in a Commercial Motor Industry environment Excellent understanding of automotive industry Goal / Target driven Commercial Vehicle experience ESSENTIAL!!!
