Commercial Videographer - WEWS

Do you love telling stories through producing videos to help businesses grow? WEWS, The E.W. Scripps Company ABC affiliate in Cleveland, OH, is looking for Commercial Videographer in our Creative Services Department. The primary purpose is to shoot, edit, write and develop commercials for our station’s advertisers or promotional spots for our station’s newscasts. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Shoot video for station projects, including commercials for our station’s advertisers and promotional spots for our station’s newscasts.

Work with Canon DSLR cameras and lenses.

Edit with Adobe products, specifically Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and After Effects.

Collaborate with clients, talent, account executives, and Commercial Production Manager with field and studio productions.

Create custom graphics for commercial and promotional projects.

Work with Commercial Production Manager to maintain Commercial Production archive, including video, music and graphics.

Work with Commercial Production Manager to organize and administer the scheduling of all shooting and editing for the department productions.

Occasional still photography for various station projects, including headshots and billboards.

Perform other duties as needed and directed by the Commercial Production Manager, Creative Services Director, or General Sales Manager.

Drive company vehicles

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Associates degree in related discipline or equivalent years of experience preferred

Generally, 2+ years of experience in related field preferred

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

Proficiency with lighting and video editing, primarily using Adobe products.

Collaborative attitude and visual creativity to tackle a variety of client work.

Knowledge and proficiency in posting content to station's web site and social media platforms.

Able to work efficiently under multiple deadlines on a daily basis.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Driving Required: valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to provide proof of insurance with the company required insurance limits.
