About the location:

On the sophisticated Athens Riviera, at the tip of a pine-clad peninsula, Four Seasons offers the best of both worlds: a laid-back seaside escape just 30 minutes from the historical city centre. Discover the wonders of ancient civilization at the Acropolis, then return to Four Seasons to unwind and relax. Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens opened in March 2019 and provides a preferred address for both business and leisure travelers, and the highly personalized, anticipatory service that Four Seasons guests expect and value around the world. The Arion Hotel was built in 1967 and has 106 keys and 61 Bungalows, and the Nafsika opened in 1980 and has 136 keys. Under the same ownership is a large private beach club and marina. Nafsika is open through the year, while Arion and the bungalows operate eight months of the year. Adding to the complement of on-site F&B operations (8 Restaurants and Bars), there are also two third party restaurants on site.

About the role
Join the Michelin-starred culinary team at Pelagos Restaurant as a Commis de Cuisine in Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens and immerse yourself in the art of fine dining. Refine your craft and contribute to unforgettable culinary experiences by being part of this dynamic kitchen where passion, innovation, and precision come together in every dish.

What you will do

Prepare and cook food according to standard procedures, recipe cards, photographs, and given instructions.Constantly assist in the inspection of taste, temperature, and visual appeal, and make sure that all dishes are uniform and that established portion sizes are adhered to.Participate in product development and in controlling the smooth operation of the kitchen.Assist in ensuring appropriate food quality, food taste, food presentation, and food requisition, as per the standards set by the management of the culinary team.Ensure proper sanitation procedures are followed and the kitchen is always clean, neat, and tidy.Assist the Chefs in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen and help maintain a high standard of food preparation.

What you bring

Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.Ability to follow recipes and instructions precisely, ensuring high standards of presentation and quality.Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with chefs and kitchen team to achieve common goals.Enthusiasm for the culinary arts and a strong desire to develop skills in a Michelin-starred environment.
