Job Summary:

AGS is looking for a Commissary Clerk to work in Miami, FL. The selected candidate will work under the supervision of the Procurement Manager. The Commissary Clerk will act independently or assist in the performance of duties necessary to facilitate and maintain continuity with the commissary operations. Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

Ensures appropriate levels of approved commissary items are stocked, inventoried and available for purchase

Fills and delivers orders

Maintains accurate records of filled and/or omitted orders

Inputs data into computer, keeps records and submits reports to supervisor.

Pulls stock from shelves and readies for delivery

Keeps records of outgoing orders, requisitions additional stock and reports short supplies to supervisor

Distributes commissary orders to the detainee population as required

Ensures compliance with standard operating with all standard and safety procedures

Ensures tasks are completed in accordance with the facility schedule and pre- determined delivery schedule established by the Procurement Manager or Facility Administrator / designee

Provides assorted items to non-citizens from an approved commissary list

Stocks, straightens, takes inventory of merchandise, and handles returns

Orders commodities and fills non-citizens orders

Calculates and verifies charges

Verifies order accuracy, inspects the quality of goods, and maintains records for detainee commissary orders

Issues commissary credits and ensuring controlled items are properly secured

Will perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

A high school diploma or GED is required

Contract requires US citizenship

Must be able to obtain a US government clearance, pass a company background check and drug test

Experience in sales is preferred

Strong computer skills required

Bilingual is preferred

Must have interact and exhibit good communication skills with other employees and department heads

Must be able to follow Standard Codes of Conduct pertaining to interaction with non-citizen population

Must be at least 21 years of age

Must be able to pass extensive background investigation and random drug tests

Physical Demands:

May lift or push up to 50 lbs

For extended periods of time, may be required to stand, walk, squat, kneel, sit, bend, reach and climb. Work may involve using ladders and lifts
