The Commissary Technician will provide support for the husbandry staff (SNARL)in the Department of Neurobiology. Incumbent will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing associated areas such as hallways, surgical suites, procedure rooms, kitchens, doing dishes, storage areas, etc. within the animal care facility followingIACUCstandards. He/she will prepare food by mixing chow, cutting fruit and preparing diet supplements. He/she will be responsible for taking inventory of food/lab/PPEsupplies and placing orders.Vaccinations and TB testing will be required.
