JOB SUMMARY:

The Warehouse manager manages the daily operation of the warehouse. Manages total warehouse inventory value, coordinates all dock shipping and receiving activities by directing assigned warehouse personnel using inventory control systems, shipping documents, personnel, and time management. Leads development and maintenance of processes and procedures to ensure accurate and productive work activities for this department. Works with Commissary’s team in responses and resolutions of customer complaints and/or requests. Monitors and documents all warehouse personnel activities for performance and compliance with Company’s standards in Personnel and Food Safety, sanitation, and productivity. Ensures orders are fulfilled promptly and within budget and maintains fulfillment ratios at industry standards or above. Manages total department payroll according to budget. Works with QA Director in the implementation of the Food Safety program in the warehouse.  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIE

Responsible for the safety and well-being of all associates under his/her leadership. Manages total warehouse inventory value. Manages total warehouse payroll according to budget. Supervises picking, staging, and loading activities to ensure orders are shipped in a timely manner. Ensures that personnel under his/her leadership consolidates documentation for each load, upon completion, signs off, completes check lists with Supervisor or Leads and generates final bill of lading and signs off final release of shipment. Investigates picking, staging, and loading activities exceptions with the shipping personnel for proper corrective action and elimination of non-conformances. Ensures full compliance with facility and department safety rules, HACCP, SSOP’s & GMP’s according to Company’s Food Safety guidelines. Monitors and documents all warehouse personnel activities for performance and compliance with strict adherence to Company standards for quality, safety, sanitation and overall productivity through job analysis, training, and timely documentation. Responsible for the proper storage and configuration of raw materials and finished goods. Maintains all equipment and gear in proper operational condition. Responsible for ensuring compliance with all Government and company regulatory standards. Manages, coaches, develops and cross trains Team Members to deliver the highest quality to Operations while maintaining inventory accuracy.  Assure that all materials are available in the right quantities according specifications  Manage lot tracking traceability program for all food, non-food, raw materials and packaging.  Manage Allergen control program ensuring all allergens are identified and handled according to our Allergen program.  Lead and manage decanting of raw materials for use in Cocina, Prep, Meat Department, Tamale Department, Chicharrón Department, and Production Department. Ensure all raw materials are requisitioned and delivered to the appropriate Departments Ensure Materials department remains in compliance with USDA, FDA, OSHA, HACCP, SQF requirements   Documents, files, and maintains invoices of all invoices received. Turns in the documentation on a timely manner to ensure payments are done on time. Manage and ensure efficient use of WMS/ERP systems in the department  Ensure inventories or complete, organized, and controlled.  Coordinate daily with Supply Chain purchasing department.  Manage vendor delivery scheduling.  Maintain safe, neat organized warehouse environment.  Manage material inventory to a minimum of days on hand.  Assure all items are handled according to FIFO and receiving information is attached to all items received.  Implement and maintain bin location inventory addressing system for all raw materials and packaging in the plant.  Determine par levels and monitor daily inventories for raw materials and packaging.  Manage personnel to maintain proper inventory, ordering, receiving, storage, rotation, and requisition processes.  Ensure department is maintained audit ready  Ensure 5S is completed daily and maintained  Track food waste and disposition in cooperation with QA team.  Track product usage and yields in relation to ordering requirements.   Coordinate and participate in month end inventory and reporting processes.  Participates on the Safety Committee and HACCP Team 

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

In Conjunction with QA Director, leads warehouse on all Fire Inspections, FDA Inspections, USDA Inspections, US Agriculture Inspections, and all Orange County Health Department Inspections and works closely with QA Director on responses and corrective actions. Maintains an adequate amount of dunnage material to ensure that all products are shipped according to Company’s standards. Be available to respond to calls from the dialer for the refrigeration system as needed. Be a part of the Cold Chain Custody Program. Responsible for all PR Billing. Oversee Info Link. Maintain the EPA ID number. Work with Inventory Control members and other departments to develop plans and schedules. Collaborate with department heads to ensure processes and procedures are in line with maintaining an accurate inventory. Collaborate with the Operations Team to update SOPs to ensure best practices are published and trained in. Monitor daily KPI’s. Liaison with all operational departments to ensure smooth information flow, improve teamwork, ensuring communication in a cohesive and structured manner internally and externally. Ensure to order and keep a safety stock on boxes / supplies used within the warehouse needs  Assist Warehouse Manager in attaining all departmental goals.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND CONDITIONS:

Education/Experience/Skills

 High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in management preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  7+ years of experience in a warehouse setting with strong knowledge of inventory and supply-chain processes. Strong computer skills – particularly Excel, Word, Outlook History of success managing multiple projects, working with tight deadlines, and prioritizing work in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional organizational and analytical skills. Ability to think strategically and constructively in a team setting. Exceptional written, verbal, communications, interpersonal and relationship building skills. Must have an outstanding attendance record.

Certificates/Licenses/Registrations

Forklift certification required. HACCP Certification. 2-hour Respect Value Training required.

Bilingual/ Spanish-English. High level of analytical skills and organization skills with good computer skills and experience using the Microsoft Suite. Salary Range: $74,880 USD to $112,214 USD
