Job Title: Mechanical Commissioning Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer with experience in mission-critical facilities such as data centers, telecommunications, or disaster recovery sites.

Responsibilities:

Participate in daily commissioning activity meetings.Perform equipment pre-start-up procedures and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Methods of Procedures (MOPs).Prepare comprehensive commissioning documentation and test procedures.Develop and maintain commissioning logs, equipment checklists, and other tools to track commissioning projects.Write detailed reports including recommendations for optimizing building operations, functional checklists, lists of deficiencies, and equipment operation and maintenance manuals.Review design criteria, specifications, drawings, equipment submittals, and other documentation pertinent to commissioning.Develop and administer functional tests for various systems, such as mechanical central chilled water plants, packaged rooftop units, boilers, chillers, computer room air conditioning units, fire protection systems, etc.Conduct integrated system testing, building management system testing, and compile all testing procedure results.

Essential Skills:

Minimum 10 years of experience in the Mechanical Mission Critical Field.Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is a plus.Experience working in complex facilities or mission-critical projects is highly desired.Good communication skills and ability to interface with clients, contractors, equipment vendors, and owners' agents.Experience with IEEE procedures and protocols is a plus.Basic knowledge of system design.Possession of a commissioning certification or PE.OSHA 10/30 certification is a plus.

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $180000.00/yr.
