Commissioning Lead, Data Centers & Mission Critical

As a Project Management Commissioning Leader for our Technical Services team, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the commissioning process of data center and mission critical projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects meet quality standards, are delivered on time, and within budget. Your expertise in commissioning will be pivotal in ensuring the successful completion and handover of projects to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and ensure adherence to commissioning processes and best practices unique to the data center environment. Within the team, maintain accurate and updated documentation processes throughout the commissioning process, including project plans, progress reports, change orders, and final commissioning reports. In a player/coach capacity, manager a team of commissioning project managers while also serving as the main point of contact for stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and consultants on your own projects. Implement quality assurance processes at scale to monitor and review project performance, focusing on adherence to industry standards, codes, and regulations. Ensure compliance with safety guidelines, industry regulations, and environmental standards. Contribute to the growth of the commissioning service by participating in RFPs, pitches, etc.  Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices related to commissioning and project management. Identify opportunities for improvement and contribute innovative ideas to enhance project delivery and streamline commissioning processes.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.

7-10+ years experience in project management, commissioning, or related roles within the construction or real estate development industry.

In-depth knowledge of commissioning principles, systems, and processes.

Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work well under pressure.

Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Estimated total compensation range for this position is:

105,300.00 – 152,700.00 USD per year

The pay range listed is a total compensation range including bonus, if applicable.  The provided range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
