As our market sectors and services grow, we continuously add new opportunities. Will you join us? Responsibilities Page is currently seeking a Commissioning Specialist to joint our team. In this position, you will experience a wide variety of projects within Page’s core sectors including Workplace, Federal, Education, Hospitality, Healthcare, Justice & Civic, Mixed-Use and more. As part of the Commissioning team, responsibility will include setup of the project dashboard, equipment checklist development, system functional test development, commissioning activities necessary to support the team in verification of the owner's requirements. As a team member, you will frequently travel to job sites to perform thorough inspections, perform functional testing and building performance diagnostics along with an interactive team approach with construction trades. Depending on the project requirements this position will vary between in office time and field time. In this role there is potential for rapid growth opportunities as we expand our commissioning team and support our clients. The successful candidate will: Work on new construction, retro-commissioning projects, measurement and verification projects, and energy audit projects Work with Integrated Design teams of Architects, Engineers and specialty designers, providing commissioning expertise on projects across Page’s core sectors Work with team members to manage project execution and client expectations to adhere to budget, schedule, and scope Maintain good and professional client relationships Maintain a clear line of communication with management and team members Develop and update project plans including information such as project objectives, technical specifications, schedules, and staffing support requirements Conduct Commissioning site visits as needed Submit project deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality standards Manage commissioning process on multiple projects as needed Provide review support of project OPR, BoD, plans, submittals and schedules Verify equipment installation and performance during checklist review and functional testing Support and conduct commissioning meetings throughout the project Share lessons learned with team and staff Perform a QA/QC review of the project deliverables Maintain updates to the commissioning process and documents Run projects independently with regular check-ins with the Project Manager Qualifications Required Qualifications: At least 4 years of full-time hands-on experience in Commissioning building systems and/or TAB field Knowledge of the building design and construction industry with expertise in the building commissioning process is essential A strong understanding of the Commissioning process for New Construction and Major Renovations A strong understanding of Existing Building Commissioning, Operations and Maintenance, specifically with energy use and indoor environmental quality Strong Technical knowledge of HVAC and building automation systems to evaluate and test the performance of these systems Have strong technical skills and a solid understanding of engineering concepts and advanced problem-solving skills Have familiarity with use of portable monitoring/metering equipment Be goal oriented with strong skills in problem solving, creativity, and attention to detail Be collaborative, client-focused and a clear communicator who can interact professionally with clients and on-site staff and enhance our reputation as an industry leader Be detail oriented, organized, and able to execute a quality commissioning process Possess a sense of self-direction and the ability to manage your own time and aid others to ensure projects are on schedule and within budget Excellent written and oral communications skills Strong organizational and computer skills are necessary Ability to conduct T&B efforts is a plus Good understanding of building automation systems and sequence of operation is necessary Committed to enhancing technical and professional skills in supporting commissioning Ability to travel to project sites to perform field activities Preferred Qualifications: Commissioning certification with a nationally recognized professional body is a plus (AEE, ACG, BCA, ASHRAE, etc.) Studies in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineering is a plus Familiarity or a willingness to learn more about using a Cloud-based Commissioning tool #LI-KS1 Page is an EOE/AA/VET/IWD employer and subscribes to E-Verify.
