Commodity Manager is responsible for the development and delivery of the sourcing strategy, commercial supplier relationship, supplier performance and cost management of assigned categories while makes sure there is no disruption to the supply chain of raw materials, components, products or services to manufacturing sites by always providing helpful to the Company.
Supply Chain professional with 6-8 years in procurement or purchasing fields with proven experience and increasingly track of responsibilities.
For This Role, You Will Need: Developing central initiatives to elevate the commodity to the organization's target level by collaborating with collaborators and cross-functional teams across various manufacturing locations. The Commodity Manager should coordinate actions to prevent shortages, excel with suppliers, and lead cost avoidance efforts. Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Demonstrated experience in strategic procurement deployment Knowledge and exposure to NPI/NPD projects as sourcing leader Negotiation skills Have handled assigned spend >$50Musd in one or different categories Proven experience in supplier performance and supplier selection Demonstrated confirmed knowledge in the following areas/expertise: Thermoforming & Thermosetting plastics Injection molding process for plastic, rubber and gaskets Proficiency level on handling different types of resins for molding rubber and plastics Strong supplier portfolio and commercial relations with resin distributors and resin fabricators Tooling/mold fabrication experience Precision glass molding processes, finishing glass processes, tempering, polishing and sandblasting Glass mold fabrication knowledge Knowledge on different type of insulation material and fabrication processes UL certification experience Strong supplier portfolio and acquaintance suppliers relationship on above commodities Technically skilled with pricing market trends, raw material indexing and contract management Our Offer To You:At Emerson, we offer a competitive benefits package to recognize and support our employees.
