Looking for students interested in supporting development of a Common Metrics Dashboard that will improve the timeliness of execution on existing RTX programs

Students will be assigned to an agile team and will collaborate with Collins engineers to design, develop, and test the metrics Dashboards across several existing databases. Students will get experience working with agile teams and using DevOps to produce a product. The outcome of this project produces a one stop shop for Program Managers, Chief Engineers and developers alike!

What You Will Do:

Actively participate in daily (on site) scurm team meetingsCollaborate with engineers to design, develop, and test the metricsUse the Agile DevOps process for product development and testIdentify key performance metrics

What You Will Learn:

Gain knowledge using GPS and Inertial Navigation Antenna Electronics integrattionLearn about GPNTS (global postion, navigation, & time system) platform integration and troubleshootingWork with the team to learn about Real Time Metrics Dashboard developmet (Scripting)Continuous Integration and Delivery Pipelines

Qualifications You Must Have:

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Qualifications We Prefer:

Familiar with Continuous Integration and Delivery Pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub)Custom dashboard development for pipeline statuses and near real-time data visualization (grafana)Scripting (bash, python, groovy)Writing, querying, parsing SQL Databases (MySQL, InfluxDB, Mongo)

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
